Talk about this Hong Kong trip, we nearly unable to go for holiday as Isaac fell sick two days before our departure date. I brough him to doctor on Sunday morning and doctor said it was just normal fever, no antibiotic needed, but he gave it to me just in case fever comes back during the vacation. Hubby and I prepared for the worst, we prayed hard, so did my niece and nephew, they prayed and prayed during thier Buddhist class. They prayed everyone will be healthy and the trip will be on as planned. We have been long waiting for this day......
Luckily Isaac was rid from fever on Monday night. But I dare not take the risk, I gave him fever medicine on Tuesday morning before on board. It's three hours flight and we passed the temperature scan at Chek Lap Kok Airport without realizing... Hooray....
Our journey started, 1st destination was ~~ Snoopy World at New Town Plaza, Shatin. It's the first Peanuts outdoor playground in Asia with the world's largest Snoopy statue, located atop a shopping mall and the entrance is free. There's one ride that you can go on as long as you have a receipt from the shopping mall, regardless the amount. We bought a bar of candy from Guardian farmasi (named as mannings in Hong Kong).
We then took MTR to Wong Kok and hang around in a shopping mall called ~~ Wachifield. There has extremely long escalators and the Christmas decoation is very nice.
We had late lunch that day, but the kids kept making noise wanted to go for dessert. We had Mango Sai Mai Lou, Red Bean Tau Fu Fa and Durian Pancake.
Then we walked around Lady Street (Lui Yan Kai) and Sport Shoes Street (Bo Hai Kai). I found a shop there selling lots of cute stuff like Hello Kitty, Winnie the Pooh... and I found cookie cutters there. I just bought two bento boxes (Winnie the Pooh & Hello Kitty) on that night, hoping to see more tools in Disneyland.
My sis and her kids got back to hotel earlier as her kids were tired walking. Three of us then walked back to Novotel Nathan Road, which took us about 20 minutes. Of course we didn't let Isaac walk all the way back to hotel, we took turn to carry him as he just recovered from sick. We choose to walk so that we can know what are the shops available along the road. It's windy and nice to walk.
Hubby "Tapau" roasted pigeon back to hotel room from a restaurant next to Novotel. I didn't snap any photo as I was taking shower. About Novotel, it's a very comfortable hotel, about 2 minutes walking distance to Jordan MRT Station. The hotel room is clean, with three different types of feather pillows. We all know Hong Kong hotel room is small and yet expensive. But room size in Novotel is not as small as what I have imagined. Our room has a super king size bed with a long sofa and yet able to place an extra bed for free. A nice hotel and worth the money I have paid!

Snoopy World is great ... nice and fun pictures there. Oh those desserts, we have it in here too. The place called 'Honeymoon Dessert', one of my favorite place for great desserts (^.^)

小薰妈,那地方还真的不赖,是小孩的好去处,还有那些Snoopy迷。
仪仪妈咪,stay tune with me yeah, I am uploading the photos, something wrong with my office networking, it's extremely slow. I took one day to upload Day 1 photos (~_~)
Lia Chen, you are right, now only I remember they are called "Honeymoon" in Hong Kong too. We have this restaurant opened not long ago in KL, but haven't try it. Hope the standard is as good as Hong Kong (^_^)
