"Bak Kwa (肉干)" is Hokkien language, English we call it "BBQ Minced Meat Slices". It is one of the food we will surely buy during CNY. "Roti" is Malay word for bread. Yes, the accurate name for this bento should be "BBQ Minced Meat Slice Burger". Bak Kwa can only last for 10 days unless it is vacuum-packed. I purposely kept few slices in fridge so that it won't get molded, then I can prepare this as breakfast. I heated it up in oven for few minutes before consume it.
I packed one chocolate into the bento box, wish Isaac's day is as MERRY as the chocolate packaging (*o*).

Love Bak Kwa! I have missed so much your posts because your link on my blogroll has been broken. But now fixed it! It took me sometimes to catch up with all your posts hehehe :)
I love Bak Kwa too.. I eat a lot when back home this time.. haha..
This Lindor Chocolate is very nice. Must only kept in cool place but not in fridge.
@Lia: I think your blogroll is working fine, I just updated my blog yesterday, back date all the posts ('_'). Is Indo Chinese eating Bah Kwa during CNY?
@Rachel: Didn't know that you were back for CNY, no wonder no update on your blog for quite sometimes. Can u easily get Bah Kwa there in China Town?
@Anonymous: Thanks for the info, I didn't know can't keep in fridge. I worry with the weather here, the chocolate will melt and too soft to eat. Maybe I should take it out for few minutes before putting into mouth (^o^).
Oh, I think was the problem on my blogroll. So I ended up deleting your blog link and put a new link hahaha ... sily me :D We made a lot of dishes from pork on CNY but not the Bak Kwa. Hubby is in Singapore today and I am sure he will bring home some Bak Kwa :p
