Today I just prepare something simple for Isaac. This bento idea is from this Japanese Bento Mama, of course hers version is very much nicer (^o^)....

1st Tier: Red bean 'Pau'

Bento #210 - The Little Shepherd

This is how shepherd looks like in my mind, always wear a straw hat and then drive a herd of lamb through the wilderness to the hill. He will take out his bamboo flute while shepherding and enjoying life on a green green hill....

Bento #183 - Sunny Boy

Isaac complained that not enough time was given for him to finish his bento. He bought back almost a complete bento back for me yesterday, only half of the cupcake was eaten. Therefore today I reduced the bread size, only packed half slice of sweet potato bread and some apple for him. The sunny boy was made from ham.

Do you realize that I have used the pick I bought yesterday? Now you know how much I love them, I just can't wait to use it.....

Bento #176 - British Soldier in Tall Black Fuzzy Hat

Isaac requested this High 5 bread, with apple cream inside. Looking at the bread, really have no clue what to fix. Tall black fuzzy hat flashed into my mind, but I added two feather onto the hat. After adding the feather, it makes me think of Red Indian. I think will fix a red indian bento in couples of day. Stay tune yeah (*0*)....

Bento #158 - Street Fighter ~ Chun Li

I wanted to make Hamtaro actually, mission failed! Since I already have the head cut out and I didn't want to waste, I turned it into a little girl with hair knot. Looked at her, she looks like my childhood favourite Street Fighter character - Chun Li (春丽) (^o^).....

Bento #155 - Mr Clown

Ohh gosh!! I am too busy with work recently until have to sacrifice my lunch hour. I do not have internet at home, when want to online, I will go my brother's house, he has wireless installed at home. What a silly right, IT graduated but no internet connection at home. Yeah, so that I have excuses not (unable) to work at home and enjoy family time. Most of the time, I will pack food from home and do some blogging during lunch.

But recently I am too committed to my work, because the software is rushing for release. My lunch hour is used for software testing. Sign !!!! So don't be surprise to see my backdated post (^_^).



Hubby bought Isaac few DVDs last week and he has watched the 'Alvin and The Chipmunks II' during the weekend. When I asked him what I have fixed him for today bento, he told me 'chipmunk'... (n_n). Didn't it looks like clown? ** speechless **

Bento #142 - Another Triangular Bento

I fixed another triangular bento using the triangular rice mould today. I can't think of a nice name for the bento (^@^). The way of preparing the bread is the same as Bento #139, but I use tuna as the filling.



Postscript: Isaac didn't eat the bento, the cooking auntie perhaps teacher cooked them spaghetti (Isaac's favourite). I am Ok with it, as long as he gives me an acceptable reason (^_^).

Bento #130 - Girl in Tiger Costume

Have to thanks shoppingmum for sharing her idea. She fixed two "Tiger Kids Bento" for her kids which is really nice and cute. I have the urge to fix one for Isaac, so better make it while I am still in the hot mood (n_n) .... If you realize, the tiger costume is fixed according to the pick next to the quail egg ....

Bento #52 - Triangular Boys

It's a rainy day, so hard to get up from the bed. Ahh... we sleep in aircond room, make no different whether raining or not right? Kekeke... mentality issue. ^_^

Intend to make a naught cat, has already scratch it yesterday night. But this morning after cutting out the body, I have the feeling mission gonna fail again... kekeke... So end up, come out this --> Triangular Boy... @_@

Bento #32 - Boy n Girl

Today's bento is pretty simple. Ingredient used is Gardiner's butter bread, cheese and nori. Isaac requested some garlic bread snack, I hide it under the bread.


Which one is boy and which one is girl? It seems like they are both brothers... hahaha...
